We thought the Pillarbox Cottage was excellent value for money with its fully fitted kitchen and washing machine, and the room had plenty of storage options. The location was great for exploring nearby attractions, and the owner, Sarah, was helpful and left us to enjoy our stay.

Sarah, the host, was incredibly helpful from the moment I booked until I left. If I ever come back to Matlock, I would definitely choose to stay at this cottage again.

Its central location, just a short walk from shops and the train station, was convenient. We enjoyed the lovely walks in the area, and the steam train ride was a highlight. a visit to nearby Bakewell for their famous pudding was a must.

The bathroom could benefit from a window or better ventilation as it got quite hot. It would also be useful to have blankets for cozy evenings.
